SUMMARY:Malabar River Festival
DESCRIPTION:The much-awaited Malabar River festival\, South- India’s first-ever river-based competition\, is all set to make a big splash this year. The event is organized by the Kerala Adventure Tourism Promotion Society (KATPS) and District Tourism Promotion Council (DTPC) with the technical support of the Indian Kayaking and Canoeing Association (IKCA). The International Kayaking competition will be held at Thusharagiri in Kozhikode from August 04 to 06. The River Festival hosted at the Chalipuzha and Iruvazhinjipuzha rivers is a great booster to water sports and adventure tourism in Kerala. \nEvents List\nOpen Category Men & Women\n\nKayak Cross Heats ( Individual qualifying)\nKayak Cross Finals (Top 32 from heats)\nDownriver Finals .
