DESCRIPTION:In a country where mountain biking is constrained to more competitive placement\, Ladakh MTB fest aims to go beyond that and explore the idea of celebrating the sport and the culture in its purest form.Ladakh MTB Mtb fest came into its existence in the year 2019 with the establishment of Disko valley bike park in Leh.The primary objective of the festival is to promote mountain biking in Ladakh and also\,display the riding potential of the region to the global community.The festival is a multi-day event with different activities spread over a week with jumps\, Freeride and side jib sessions at the bike park.And\, to keep things a little interesting\, the festival includes Downhill Racing along with Cross country as well. \nThe Location for the festival is the only space in India that is completely dedicated to mountain biking. The bike park houses some of the biggest dirt jumps and drops in the country\, with different jump lines staged on different grades along with a pump track as well.The bike park is to provide an infrastructure for the region and ultimately transform Ladakh into a The Mountain biking capital of the country. \nSo\, See you in August for some Hang time and Disko!

DESCRIPTION:Here is your chance to enjoy the outdoors and learn the basics of Rock climbing with us. \nOur next Introduction to Rock Climbing workshop is scheduled for 13th August 2023 \nFor more information and to register\, please contact 8943032605 on WhatsApp. \nThe location will be informed to those who have confirmed\, a couple of days before the date. \nWhat to bring:\n1-3 liters water\, lunch and snacks for self\, bug spray\, sun screen\, hat\, rain gear and footwear and clothing appropriate for the outdoors. \nWhat we provide:\nClimbing shoes\, harness\, ropes and all the other required climbing gear. \nPlease commit and block a place by making a payment of INR 2\,500. This amount will include all the required gear and insurance for the event. \nRefund Policy:\nNo refund post 72hrs before workshop. \nThe content of the workshop:\n– Climbing and disciplines or styles of climbing.\n– Overview of the basic equipment\n– Basic climbing knots\n– Top Rope Belaying\n– Climbing movement on Rock \nNOTE – Due to the current weather situation\, if there are rains on the 13th\, the workshop might be preponed to 12th if the forecast is better. The decision for the same will be taken by the 10th of August \, so do keep yourselves free for the weekend\, if possible!
