Expect dense forest trails\, significant elevation gain and loss\, remote terrain\, and the kind of natural beauty that only a trail runner gets to experience up close. \nAll categories start and finish at GPL Ground\, Mallanduru. The 100 KM is two loops of the 50 KM course\, and the 50 KM Day and Night editions share the same course — only start times and cut-offs differ. \n\nRace Categories\n30 KM Trail Run\nStart: 7:30 AM | Cut-off: 6.0 hours (End: 1:30 PM) Elevation: +/- 951 metres ITRA Points: 1 | Cap: 400 entries \nDesigned for first-time trail runners and regular hikers. Runners who have completed a few half marathons on road are well-suited for this category. The 6-hour cut-off may appear comfortable\, but the rugged terrain will test many participants. \nQualification — meet any one: \n\nPrevious Malnad Ultra participant (any edition\, any distance\, started the race)\nSub 2:30 half marathon (21 km) at an officially timed event in 2026\nNon-zero ITRA Performance Index (provide your ITRA ID)\n\n\n50 KM Trail Run — Day Edition\nStart: 7:00 AM | Cut-off: 10 hours (End: 5:00 PM) Intermediate Cut-off: 38 km checkpoint by 3:00 PM Elevation: +/- 1\,705 metres | (USD 44) ITRA Points: 2 | Cap: 400 entries \nDesigned for regular marathoners and experienced hikers. Set deep in the forested trails of the Tehri–Garhwal Himalayas\, the race offers runners a raw\, immersive mountain running experience across ridgelines\, meadows\, and remote high-altitude terrain. \nWhat makes SRLC truly unique is that it is the only trail race that includes an overnight camping experience. Participants arrive a day early and stay at a forest campsite near Deolsari\, creating a rare blend of trail running and mountain camping. I shall pay or reimburse to you my medical and emergency expenses not covered by the insurance cover and l hereby authorize/s you to incur the same; \n(vii) Shall provide to race officials such medical data relating to me as they may request. Limited or any persons or entities associated with the event or the directors\, employees\, agents or representatives of all or any of the aforementioned shall be held liable by me or my representatives; \n(ix) Understand\, agree and irrevocably permit Boots and Crampons Pvt. Ltd. to share the information given by me in this application\, with all/any entities associated with this event\, at its own discretion; \n(x) Understand\, agree and irrevocably permit Boots and Crampons Pvt. Ltd. to my photograph and record (on film\, tape\, hard drive\, or any other method) my performance\, appearance\, name and/or voice and the results in perpetuity for the purpose of promoting the Event\, at its own discretion.
