But this category has an experience barrier since this is the category where most of the professionals take part in. It is better to have a good level of experience to enroll into Elite category otherwise it might cause inconvenience for the entire peloton due to lack of bike handling skills and general racing experience. \nNote: Whoever competes in Elite category should stick to Elite category for the rest of the season\, they can’t go back to Amateur in other Road/MTB races of this season. – All racers who have represented their individual states or UTs have to compulsorily compete at the Elite category. \n2.  Amateur category is open for anybody who wants to race irrespective of age. \n3. The Women Master category is created to cater to women participants who think they can compete against women who are younger. This category will mirror the distances that the women category races at. \nNote: 1) Whoever participates in the Women Master category should stick to the Master category for the rest of the season\, they can’t go back to Women category in other road races of that particular season. 2) Women above 40 who want to race the distances that the Elite racers do and want to compete at the Masters can still choose to do so by registering in the Open Masters category. 3) We need a minimum of 10 participants on race day in the Women Master category. In case of lesser number of participation\, then the Women Master category will merged with Women category and all women riders will share the same podium irrespective of their age. \n7. Master category was created to cater participants who think they can compete against elites who are younger. We need a minimum of 10 participants on Race Day in the Men Master Category. In case of lesser number of participation on the race day\, then the Men Master category will be merged with Elite Category and all riders will share the same podium irrespective of their age.  This category will mirror the distances that the Elite category races at. Note: Whoever participates in Men Master should stick to the Master category for the rest of the season\, they can’t go back to Amateur/Elite in other road races of this season. \n6. Women Master (40+) category is for anybody who is above 40 years. The Women Master category is created to cater to women participants who think they can compete against women who are younger. \nWe need a minimum of 10 participants on Race Day in the Women Master Category. They will have to sign the indemnity form before issue of BIB\, without which the participant will not be allowed to take part in the race. \n—————————————————————————————– \nStandard Operating Procedure for BBCh Events \nThe below are additional rules of racing for the ITT. Stay on the highway for approximately 12.2km\, and take a U-turn just after the Confident Amoon Resort. You will experience headwinds on the way out\, so fight through it and enjoy the return!\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat is a ITT? :\n\n\n\n\n\nAn individual time trial (ITT) is a road bicycle race in which cyclists race alone against the clock on flat or rolling terrain\, or up a mountain road “ literally “against the watch”. ITTs are also referred to as “the race of truth”\, as winning depends only on each rider’s strength and endurance\, and not on help provided by team-mates and others riding ahead and creating a slipstream.\nStarting times are at equal intervals\, usually between 30 sec to two minutes apart. The starting sequence is usually based on the finishing times in preceding races (or preceding stages in the case of a multi-stage race) with the highest ranked cyclist starting last. Starting later gives the racer the advantage of knowing what time they need to beat (and also makes the event more interesting to pectators). Competitors are not permitted to draft (ride in the slipstream) behind each other. Any help between riders is forbidden. The rider with the fastest time is declared the winner.\n\n\n\n\n\nRace Notes :\n\n\n\nFAQ \n1. What is this start list for ?   \n– Rider will start as per the their start list. \n2. I see two times? start time (race clock) & start time (real time)\, what are they ?   \n– race clock will be started when first rider starts\, real time is for your reference at what time you will start(real time is in IST) \n3. When should i collect my bib ?   \n– you can plan your arrival 30 mins before as according to your start time. Make sure you are lined up 5 mins before your start time. \n4.What is the time interval ?   \n– 30 Secs (It may vary on participants number) \n5. How is the start order designed?  \n– Start order is designed based on last years results\, winner will go in last. \n6. What will happen if a person miss his start time ?   \n– He will loose his time or he has to start at last.  (final call takes by organizer) \n7. What is the use of having a start list ?   \n* It is the standard format of ITT to publish start order before race.\n* Participants can plan their start (warm-up and nutrition)\n* This will help participants and teams to plan arrival before their start time. \n8. Where should i put my bib ?  \n–  MUST be on front handle bar of your bicycle\n\n\n\n—————————————————————————————– \n\n\n\n\nGeneral Rules :\n\n\n\n\n\nQ: Where should i put my bib ?\n– At front handle bar of your bicycle.\n– Race BIBs/Numbers MUST be displayed on the handlebars of the bicycle.
