Run through lush meadows, dense forests of Oak and Deodar, winding mountain roads, and crisp Himalayan air. Whether you’re chasing a personal best or simply soaking in the beauty of the surroundings, Bir offers an unforgettable endurance experience.

Known worldwide as one of the world’s premier paragliding destinations, Bir hosted India’s first Paragliding World Cup in 2015. The town is also famous for its Tibetan monasteries, vibrant local culture, and adventure sports, making it an ideal destination for a race-cation.

Trail races take place on 18 July 2026, followed by road races on 19 July 2026, giving participants the opportunity to experience both mountain trails and scenic road running in a single weekend. For those looking to add another adventure to their trip, tandem paragliding is one of Bir’s most popular experiences.
