The Tour of Nilgiris (TFN) is one of India’s most iconic multi-day cycling expeditions—and widely regarded as one of Asia’s toughest cycling tours. Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Nilgiri mountains in South India, it is far more than just a ride; it’s a true test of endurance, resilience, and spirit.
Spanning 7 days, 700 kilometers, and over 13,500 meters of climbing, the tour takes cyclists through ever-changing terrain—dense forests, open countryside, wildlife zones, and relentless mountain ascents. This year, the journey begins from Mysuru and culminates in the misty heights of Ooty, adding a dramatic narrative from plains to peaks.
The climbs into the Nilgiri Hills are especially demanding, pushing riders to their physical and mental limits every single day.
What truly defines TFN is its spirit. Riders start as individuals but quickly become a close-knit community, bonded by shared struggles, early mornings, and long days on the saddle. It attracts a wide spectrum of cyclists—from experienced riders to passionate amateurs—all united by the love for cycling and the thrill of the journey.
With full support in logistics, safety, and hospitality, participants can focus entirely on the ride and the experience. Over the years, TFN has become a benchmark in India’s cycling landscape—symbolizing grit, adventure, and the joy of pushing beyond limits.
For many, the Tour of Nilgiris isn’t just a ride—it becomes a feeling that stays long after the journey ends.
