The Freedom Bengaluru Half Marathon 2026 (FBHM) returns for its second season, building on the success of its inaugural edition and evolving into a more competitive and aspirational running event in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Organised by Kalki Sports India, the event celebrates running culture, community, preparation and personal achievement — encouraging runners to test their limits and discover strength within.

‍Race Categories & Distances

FBHM 2026 offers multiple timed road-running distances catering to different runner levels:

21.1 km Half Marathon (Timed)

• Competitive half marathon distance
• Start Time: 6:00 AM
• Cut-off: 240 min
• Minimum Age: 18 yrs & above

10 km Run (Timed)

• Intermediate road run
• Start Time: 6:30 AM
• Cut-off: 120 min
• Minimum Age: 14 yrs & above

5 km Run (Timed)

• Shorter distance for broader participation
• Start Time: 7:00 AM
• Cut-off: 90 min
• Minimum Age: 10 yrs & above

Registration & Race Fees

Registration Fees (indicative) for the 2026 edition:

• 21.1 km Half Marathon: ₹2,100
• 10 km Timed: ₹1,450
• 5 km Timed: ₹1,100
  (Fees exclude platform charges & applicable taxes at checkout.)

There are overall cash prizes for podium finishers in each distance:

21.1 km (Men & Women):

• ₹15,000
• ₹11,000
• ₹7,000

10 km (Men & Women):

• ₹11,000
• ₹7,000
• ₹5,000

5 km (Men & Women):

• Goodie bags for top 3 finishers
• Trophies for top age-group performers

Eligibility & Age Categories

Age and gender-wise award categories are recognized across the timed distances. Specific age bands include groups like:

• 10–30 yrs (for 5 km), 14–30 yrs (for 10 km), 18–30 yrs (for 21.1 km)
• 31–45 yrs, 46–60 yrs, 61 yrs & above (for all events where applicable)

Note : All participants must collect their bibs on the Bib Expo Day. No Bibs will be distributed on Race Day under any circumstances.
