Mangaluru Triathlon & Beach Festival Marathon – 2026 Edition
January 11

What Is Mangaluru Triathlon
- Mangaluru Triathlon is a multi-discipline endurance event – combining swim, cycle and run – organised with the aim of supporting a noble cause: creating a palliative care and hospice centre for terminally ill cancer patients through Tapasya Foundation.
- Beyond triathlon, the event weekend also includes a full-scale “Beach Festival Marathon & Sports Festival” by the sea – making it more than just a race, but a celebration of sport, community, and compassion.
- Scenic coastal charm, open-water swim in the Arabian Sea (or seaside waters), cycling through coastal roads and runs along beach/roads make the event a unique blend of natural beauty and athletic challenge.
2026 Edition – Date & Purpose
- The next edition – the 4th Edition of Mangaluru Triathlon – is scheduled for 11 January 2026, at Tannirbhavi Beach, Mangaluru.
- This event supports Tapasya Foundation’s mission to establish a Cancer Palliative Care Centre near Mudipu (on the outskirts of Mangaluru), aiming to offer terminally ill patients dignity, care, and comfort in their final days.
