One of India’s most iconic running events and the world’s richest 10 km race, the 18th edition takes place on Sunday, 26 April 2026, bringing together elite international athletes, amateur runners, senior citizens, champions with disability, and thousands of Bengalureans for a celebration of fitness, inclusion, and community.
Conferred with the World Athletics Gold Label — the highest honour in road racing — the TCS World 10K Bengaluru is organised by Procam International and supported by the Government of Karnataka, Karnataka Athletic Association, Indian Army, and Greater Bengaluru Authority. With a total prize purse of USD 210,000, it draws the world’s fastest 10 km runners year after year.

Race Categories
World 10K — Elite International Race
The flagship race attracting the world’s fastest 10 km runners. Prize purse of USD 210,000 — the world’s richest 10 km race. All prizes are equal for men and women based on gun time. Top 10 men and women (Elite International and Elite Indian) receive cash rewards, plus event bonuses of USD 8,000 for elite international and ₹1,00,000 for elite Indian winners.
Open 10K
Distance: 10 km Date: Sunday, 26 April 2026 Venue: RSI Cricket Ground Minimum Age: 15 years and above (born on or before 25 April 2011) Cut-off: 1 hour 30 minutes for a downloadable timing certificate
Timing Certificate Required: Yes — applications accepted only with a valid timing certificate from an officially timed, RFID-timed race conducted on or after 26 April 2024. Qualifying distances and times:
- Full Marathon: under 6:30
- Half Marathon: under 3:00
- 10K: subject to eligibility criteria
Age-category cash prizes for top 3 male and female finishers per age group.
Majja Run
Bengaluru’s most festive and inclusive race category — a fun, non-competitive run open to all ages and abilities. The spirit of Bengaluru at its most joyful.
Senior Citizens’ Run
A dedicated category celebrating the spirit and endurance of runners aged 60 and above. One of the most beloved features of the TCS World 10K, this category draws enormous crowd support and community pride.
Champions with Disability (CWD)
Open to participants with physical/locomotor disability, intellectual impairment, visual impairment, hearing impairment, or orthopedic/neurological disorders. Facilitated by dedicated CWD support partners.
CWD Buddy Fee: ₹400 / USD 10 | Minimum age for buddy: 18 years and above
Virtual Run (10K & 5K)
Can’t make it to Bengaluru? Run your distance anywhere in the world via the TCS World 10K Bengaluru App. Registration closes: 20 April 2026 Bonus: Virtual finishers in 2026 earn a guaranteed paid spot for the 2027 on-ground edition — 1,000 spots for Virtual 10K and 250 spots for Virtual 5K, on a first-come first-served basis.
Get Active Expo — Bib Collection
Expo Dates: Thursday 23 April – Saturday 25 April 2026
- Bengaluru residents: collect on 23 or 24 April
- Outstation participants: collect on 25 April
All participants must collect their bib in person at the Expo. Carry your application confirmation and a government-issued photo ID (soft copy accepted). In unavoidable circumstances, a representative may collect on the participant’s behalf.
Start waves on race day are assigned based on the timing certificate submitted at registration. No wave changes will be made at the Expo.
Run in Costume
The popular Run in Costume competition extends across all race categories in 2026. Cash prizes up to ₹25,000 for individuals and ₹50,000 for groups. Dress up, run, and make the streets of Bengaluru unforgettable
Home Run Squad
Running with 3 or more family members on 26 April 2026? Register together and fill out the Home Run Squad form to receive a special Digital Photo Frame after the event. Offer valid on first-come first-served basis.
The Procam Slam
The TCS World 10K Bengaluru 2026 is the opening leg of the Procam Slam — a four-race series across India’s biggest road races. Complete all four consecutive Procam events to earn the Slam title:
- TCS World 10K Bengaluru — under 1:25
- Vedanta Delhi Half Marathon — under 3:30
- Tata Steel Kolkata 25K — under 3:45
- Tata Mumbai Marathon — under 6:30
