The Vineyard Ultra is a multi-day ultra-running event hosted at Sahyadri Farms, Mohadi, Nashik (Maharashtra) – a venue known for natural trails winding through vineyard landscapes, dirt roads and farm terrain. Organized by blueBrigade Sports Foundation, this ultra marathon draws endurance athletes from across India who want to challenge themselves across ultra distances ranging from 50 km to 338 km.
Spanning several days in early February, it’s as much about mental grit and resilience as it is about physical endurance – a true test of long-distance trail capability.

Ultra Categories & Distances
The Vineyard Ultra is known for offering multiple ultra distances – from shorter ultras to extreme endurance formats. Based on official 2026 entries on the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) database and event sources, the confirmed distances are:
338 km Ultra
- Extreme ultra challenge – longest distance at the event.
- Terrain: 100% trails / paths.
220 km Ultra
- Massive ultra endurance challenge with varied terrain.
- Time Limit: 48 hrs total.
161 km Ultra (typical in past editions)
- Mid-to-long ultra, great for experienced ultras (historical reference).
100 km Ultra

️ Course & Race Format
- Loop Structure: The course uses a 25 km out-and-back loop (12.5 km out + 12.5 km back) during the day, and a reduced 10 km loop at night (5 km out + 5 km back).
- Terrain: A mix of vineyard paths, dirt tracks, testing inclines, and farm roads – testing runners with heat during the day and cool night conditions typical of Nashik’s climate.
- Hydration & Food: Hydration points at start, 5 km and turnaround (12.5 km). Food and hot meals available at start/finish camp for runners.
- Support: Participants may not have personal support vehicles on course; only registered pacers are allowed in select ultra categories.
Cut-Offs & Rules
- Cut-offs: Each category has strict time limits (e.g., 50 km ~8 hrs, 75 km ~14 hrs, 100 km ~20 hrs, 220 km ~48 hrs, 338 km ~72 hrs). Runners must complete segments within set times or be marked DNF.
- Pacers: Allowed for higher ultras (e.g., 161 km, 220 km, 338 km) but not for the first 50 km.
- Registration: Non-refundable and non-transferable. Physical fitness certification and compliance with race rules are mandatory.
- Restrictions: No personal vehicles or external crew on the course. Only registered support and race officials assist runners.
